Anti-Ragging Day was observed on 12th August 2025 in the “Mother Hawwa” Lecture Hall from 12 AM to 1 PM. The event was presided over by Dr. Azhar Ahmed Siddiqui, Dean, along with members of the Student Welfare, Anti-Ragging, and Anti-Ragging Squad Committees.
Dean Sir welcomed everyone, reiterated the institute’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy on ragging, and inaugurated a student-made anti-ragging poster.
Dr. Suhail, Student Welfare Incharge, spoke about the department’s role in student development.
Dr. Sadeq Qureshi, Nodal Officer, delivered a lecture on anti-ragging laws and punishments. A psychodrama by senior students and interns highlighted the mental health impact of ragging and the importance of seeking help.
The 2022 batch presented a write-up titled “Anti-Ragging: Breaking the Chains.”
Dr. Suhail concluded the event with a vote of thanks and sincere appreciation to the management, Dean, concerned committees, and students for making the event a success.
