Event Report: Body Quest – The Ultimate Intercollegiate Anatomy Quiz

About the Event
The Department of Anatomy, IIMSR Jalna, in collaboration with the MSN Indian Medical Association (IMA), successfully organised Body Quest: The Ultimate Intercollegiate Anatomy Quiz on 25th June 2025 in the Anatomy Lecture Hall. The event was designed to foster healthy competition, enhance anatomical knowledge, and promote interaction among medical students from different colleges.
Participating Colleges
Four reputed medical colleges participated in the quiz:
- Government Medical College, Jalna
- Government Medical College, CSN (Aurangabad)
- MGM Medical College, CSN (Aurangabad)
- JIIU’s IIMSR, Badnapur, Jalna
Each college was represented by two teams, with two participants per team, making a total of eight teams competing for the top positions.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries:
- Chief Guest: Dr. Azhar Ahmed Siddiqui, Dean, IIMSR Jalna
- Dr. Pratima Kulkarni, HOD Anatomy, GMC Jalna
- Dr. Mohammad Laeeque, HOD Anatomy, GMC, CSN (Aurangabad)
- Dr. Gautam Sharoff, HOD Anatomy, MGM, CSN (Aurangabad)
- Dr. Zuberi Riyaz, HOD Anatomy, IIMSR Jalna
Their presence and encouraging words motivated the participants to put forth their best efforts.
Results
After a competitive series of rounds testing knowledge, speed, and application of anatomy, the winners were:
- 🥇1st Place: IIMSR Jalna
- 🥈2nd Place: MGM, CSN (Aurangabad)
- 🥉3rd Place: GMC, CSN (Aurangabad)
The winning teams were applauded for their outstanding performance and depth of understanding.
