Sepsis Summit 2025 at IIMSR, Jalna: A Confluence of Expertise, Leadership, and Tradition

Inaugural Ceremony and Distinguished Felicitations

The summit was inaugurated by Maulana Huzefa Vastanvi Sahab, Patron and Chairman, Dr. Azhar Ahmed Siddiqui, Dean and Organizing Chairman, Dr. Ishrat Fatema, Medical Supritendent, Dr. Ilyas Bemat, CEO, Dr. R.M. Khadri, Hospital Director along with Mr. Narayan Kuche, MLA, Badnapur Constituency, and Mr. Machindra Surawase, Police Inspector, Badnapur Police Station, who were guests of Honour.

The program was ended by the National Anthem and it was hosted by Dr. Sohail Noorani, Assistant Professor in Medicine at IIMSR.

  • Dr. Yogesh Lakkas, Professor & ICU Head at IIMSR, President of ISCCM Aurangabad Branch, and Honorary Secretary of IMA Aurangabad

  • Dr. Afroz Ziyaulla Khan, Intensivist and SR in Anaesthesia at IIMSR

  • Dr. Nashrah Khan, Assistant Professor in Microbiology at IIMSR

  • Dr. Shrikant Sahastrabudhe, Senior Intensivist and Head of ICU at KIMS Manavata Hospital, Nashik

  • Dr. Sachin Solanke, Professor & HOD, General Medicine at IIMSR

  • Dr. Rahul Choudhary, Intensivist at MGM Hospital, CSN

Each session was thoughtfully chaired by senior professors, with post-session felicitations honouring presenters and chairs, fostering a collegial and respectful academic atmosphere.

The event concluded with a gracious vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Shoeb Ansari, Professor of Medicine.
